Injection moulding is the core activity of MECAPLAST. From 15 to 500 tons, our 30 injection moulding machines can manage micro-component injecting to large parts, from one cavity to multiple cavitation moulds. Thus, we are able to produce a few hundred to several million units a year. Injection moulding activities are done in ISO Class 7 or in a normal environment, depending on required production conditions

Components injection moulding 1K and 2K

Any type of plastic materials such as, but not limited to, ABS, PC, PE, PP, PA, PUR, PEEK, PSU, PPSU, TPE and TPU can be processed at MECAPLAST with 1K or 2K injection moulding.

Over-moulding is an injection moulding process that offers improvements in product physical properties and appearance. The materials and over-moulding process used ensure a strong bond between the assembled inserts with no need for primers or adhesives. Therefore, this process is preferred for medical applications and particularly for implantable devices.

Various parts can be over-moulded and so offer products with large mechanical properties and unlimited appearance aspects
